Job Description:
Visits client sites on a regular basis to prepare annual
Emission Inventory, TRI, GHG, and other State and Federal semi-annual and
annual reports. Works directly with client managers and assists them
with calculations required for Environmental Compliance and Emission
tracking tools. Develops applications and database tools to show
compliance with Air Permit record keeping requirements. Prepares, reviews, and
submits State and Federal construction and operating permit applications
for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Manufacturing industries– NSR, PBR and
Title V permits. Visits client plants and manufacturing locations to
perform unit operation enhancements, tracking emission events, and to
develop plant design documents and drawings. Works with managers and
senior staff and assists with pollution control projects, data
analysis, chemical and environmental calculations, and prepares
technical documents. Assists the Marketing team with core engineering
and technical information in support of sales calls and client
visits. Attends State and Federal conferences to understand
reporting requirements, changes and updates in policies. Provides
technical support and delegates work to junior staff and new members of
the team. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in
Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related physical
science field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3
years of experience in the consulting service industry. Or,
alternatively, a Master's degree and 1 year of experience as stated above. Also requires: (1) Demonstrated expertise in the application of Air Quality
Engineering principles for State and Federal regulations in a
consulting, industrial/commercial or agency setting, including New Source
Review permitting (PSD and Nonattainment), Title V permitting, Permit
by Rule, RACT/BACT/LAER technology reviews, regulatory compliance
reporting and evaluations, TIER II reporting, and TRI reporting; (2) Demonstrated expertise developing environmental engineering
design, reporting and forecasting documents in compliance with Federal
and Texas State’s air quality regulations and policies; (3) Demonstrated expertise permitting power project,
including calculating emissions for the following fuel types and
technologies: boilers, combustion turbines, and diesel engines; and, (4) Demonstrated expertise performing analysis and
troubleshooting of Environmental Compliance Systems, including performance and
