Job Summary The Manager, Digital Procurement is a strategic
leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning,
implementation, and management of digital procurement systems and
other critical information systems in the supply chain area.
Responsible for leading the team who manages our digital
procurement systems and processes. The ideal candidate will bring
thought leadership, set the direction, and build the strategy and
roadmap for the optimization of our digital procurement solutions
and processes. This role will lead and execute high-visibility
initiatives with precision and timeliness. Essential Functions
- Manage the source-to-pay platform, including the supplier
diversity and vendor risk management components.
- Establish relationships with key business stakeholders to
develop and implement efficient, effective, and user-friendly
processes.
- As part of the optimization process, work with suppliers and
support ongoing supplier enablement activities.
- Analyzes the existing processes and consults with stakeholders
(internal and external) improve system functionality and
efficiency.
- Provide training or support to internal/external
stakeholders.
- Communicates the needs/expectations with software providers,
implementation consultants, and other team members on key
initiatives.
- Maintains effective communication with stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of presentations to communicate with
and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Affect positive change on projects by analyzing performance
metrics and dashboards for continuous improvement.
- Support the Source-to-Pay platform, including enhancements, bug
fixes, configuration changes, approval workflows, master, and
transactional data management.
- Participate in strategic decisions regarding system-wide
changes, e.g., new or retiring custom fields, content groups, and
custom approval chains, adoption of new functionality. Maintain
system process documentation/flows supporting changes.
- Help drive the catalog and contract strategy execution.
Essential Functions (cont.)
- Be a SME for the system platform and its processes, supporting
sourcing, procurement, and business stakeholders; provide insights
and reporting to stakeholders including knowledge sharing for new
features and enhancements with scheduled releases.
- Provide software support/guidance by answering questions on
function, feature, and usage of software modules. Support may be at
any company location but primarily at headquarters
- Provide training or support to internal/external stakeholders
on an as needed basis
- Responsible for managing categorization taxonomy, catalog
management, and master data maintenance in the system
- Work with suppliers and support enablement activities. Lead
Supplier Network Module efforts to effectively onboard 80% of
incumbent vendors within first 12 months.
- Create a culture that enables agility and automation through
technology.
- Seek out innovative technology to further advance our
procurement digital strategy.
- May perform other job duties as assigned. Education Description
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Supply Chain or
equivalent work-related experience is required. Experience
- At least five years of project management, operations, or IT
admin experience.
- Thorough understanding of Source-to-Pay processes
- Familiarity with compliance (regulatory, SOX, etc.) and
governance issues.
- Finance or Procurement background or experience as a Business
Analyst is a plus.
- Advanced certifications in Project Management, Sourcing or
Procurement a plus.
- Experience/Certification with source to pay software (Coupa,
SAP Ariba, or Ivalua) strongly preferred. We want you to know Being
