Staff Accountant Location: Downtown Houston, TX (Fully Onsite) We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting team of a well-established organization located in downtown Houston . This role offers the opportunity to work within a sizable, well-resourced environment with approximately $400M in annual revenue , supporting a collaborative accounting function and experienced leadership team. Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Support general ledger accounting and financial reporting activities Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with variance analysis Provide audit support and documentation as needed Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Participate in ad hoc accounting and finance projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Accounting experience in public accounting or industry preferred Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus, but not required What the Company Offers Hands-on training and support from experienced accounting leadership Exposure to a complex accounting environment and scalable systems A team-oriented, onsite work environment in downtown Houston Opportunities for skill development and career progression This role provides a strong opportunity for candidates seeking to deepen their accounting experience while contributing to a high-performing accounting team.
