Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced
Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder
(ASD) support at an elementary school in Liberty, MO. This contract
role runs tentatively from August 19, 2026, through May 29, 2027,
focusing on teaching and developing effective programming for
students with ASD. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for elementary
students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Utilize research-based
strategies to enhance academic performance, communication, motor
skills, and social development. Collaborate with paraprofessional
support staff in the classroom to provide a cohesive learning
environment. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional
methods to meet evolving needs. Maintain clear, ongoing
communication with families and multidisciplinary teams to support
student growth. Desired Qualifications: Certification in Special
Education, with a demonstrated focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Experience working in an elementary school setting. Strong
knowledge of evidence-based practices for ASD education. Ability to
collaborate effectively with support staff and other educators.
