Job Description Job Description Job type: Full-Time Job Expectations/Requirements • Mix Herbicides accurately • Spray Herbicides effectively • Write/document rates and quantities of chemicals used • Navigate the entire nursery effectively and efficiently • Be willing to work early or late hours • Be willing to work weekends upon request and on short notice • Maintain spray equipment to keep it operation • Wear proper protective equipment when mixing and applying chemicals • Manage time effectively and efficiently • Able to communicate to growers where they applied • Operate spray equipment including tractors, boom sprayers, air blow sprayers • Maintenance of equipment involving checking the oil • Be willing to work in confined spaces, hot, humid and cold environments • MUST be capable of wearing a respirator and full body spray suit at ALL times of the year • MUST be physically capable of stooping, kneeling, lifting, crouching and reaching safely Qualified candidates must be open to learning, process driven, self-motivated, and work as part of a team. Must be willing and able to show up to work on time and take direction as given.
