CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a MLB Repair Technician 1. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components. Role and Responsibilities Completes component-level repairs (capacitor, resistors, etc.) Tests, troubleshoots and diagnoses basic system failures Conducts visual mechanical inspection of units, components (LCD, Motherboards, etc.) and/or subcomponents. Performs computer data entry using Microsoft Excel and/or internal databases including production systems Follows procedures and diagrams in performing engineering change orders Learns and uses new processes and procedures for the MLB repair line Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department May perform other duties as assigned Education, Training and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required 1 or more years of experience in electronics repair, failure analysis, and diagnosis Intermediate skills in through-hole soldering Familiar with surface mount technology Ability to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams with detailed understanding of computer and subassembly functionality Ability to use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes & multi-meters, etc.) Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure quality requirements are met Intermediate English abilities required Basic Excel knowledge Experience using hand power tools Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies Excellent time-management skills Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled) Lift/carry up to 20 lbs. Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
