Purpose of JobWe are currently seeking a Property Field Manager, Claims Operations for the South East Texas region. This position will be a remote (work at home) based position located within this area. Some travel required.

Manages auto, property, subrogation, and/or physical damage member service employees who are dedicated to knowing our members, understanding their individual needs, and providing appropriate solutions. Develops employees through regular coaching and feedback that leads to improved results. Executes process improvements and leads organizational process changes. • Provides consistent coaching and guidance related to a variety of aspects associated to the claim including but not limited to the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, settlement, and subrogation.Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 or more years demonstrated leadership which may include people management experience in P&C Claims, Financial Services Industry, Customer Service Industry, or equivalent military service/environment AND actively enrolled in pursuing a degree may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 6 or more years P&C industry functional work experience OR 4 or more years P&C experience plus military service experience OR 4 or more years P&C experience and 2 years prior customer service related experience OR 4 or more years P&C experience and a USAA Manager Candidate School graduate.
    • Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license.Preferred
      • CPCU or other insurance industry designation
      • 5 years of property claims field experience handling moderate to complex dwelling claims
      • Residential construction experience
      • Experience handling catastrophe claims and ability to deploy on future catastrophes
      • 2+ years prior management experience
      • Ability to traverse ladders and roofs
      • Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed
      • Reside within 50 mile radius of central Houston
      • Knowledge of Xactimate, Xactanalysis and Xact Contents
      • Knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of case law--
