Job SummaryThe Phlebotomist I is responsible for performing phlebotomy and other specialized specimen collection procedures for patients in in-patient and out-patient settings. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.Key Responsibilities

• Collect and process biological specimens for laboratory testing
• Operate Laboratory Information System functions, including data entry and specimen handling
• Organize workload and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient specimen collection and processing
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care and communicationRequirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Course in phlebotomy/venipuncture preferred
  • 3 months of phlebotomy work or training experience, including data entry and specimen handlingPreferred Qualifications
