Hospitalist Houston Methodist Baytown Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking additional Hospitalist physicians to join our team at our campus located in Baytown. Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Three or more years of post-graduate practice experience as a Hospitalist is preferred, however new graduates will be considered. The Physician Hospitalist in this role will work days have a schedule of 7 on/7 off rotation. Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital, located 35 miles southeast of Houston, is the area's only full-service hospital offering specialized medical care for patients at every stage in life. This is a 230 licensed bed hospital with 12 operating rooms, 608 physicians on staff, and over 1,700 employees, brings Medical Center excellence and quality care close to East Harris and surrounding counties. In 2020, Houston Methodist Baytown completed a $100 million construction and renovation project that includes a new 20-bed observation unit, a state-of-the-art outpatient center and a three-story tower with an expanded emergency department, Level II neonatal intensive care unit and a 26-bed medical/surgical unit. The project also encompasses the renovated Houston Methodist Cancer Center at Baytown facility, which includes a new infusion therapy suite.
