Memorial Hermann, a premier health system in Texas, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Sr Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at the Advanced Heart Failure (AHF) Clinic located at the Texas Medical Center. This vital role involves using diagnostic imaging to assist with the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of heart diseases, providing paramount support in patient care management. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to patient care excellence, a pillar of our healthcare philosophy, and will thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinic environment. Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular tests to assess heart size, structure, and function. Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret diagnostic images and assist in formulating treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all procedures comply with medical and legal requirements. Provide compassionate care and communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering inquiries. Adhere to all clinic safety protocols and stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac diagnostic techniques. Proficiency in performing standard and complex echocardiography. Strong understanding of cardiac pathology and physiology. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment. High level of detail and accuracy in diagnostic imaging. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or an equivalent credential. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
