Locum Tenens Opportunity: Hospitalist Medicine Physician Near Missouri City, TX Job ID: J-238328 We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Missouri City, Texas. This opportunity is perfect for a board-certified or board-eligible physician looking to work in a new and dynamic program. The role involves working closely with a team of healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to deliver high-quality patient care. Position Details Location: Near Missouri City, Texas Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off rotation Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (5 physicians, 2 APPs) Swing shift: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (1 physician) Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (1 physician, 1 APP Nocturnist) No on-call duties for locum tenens providers Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of a variety of medical conditions. Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Documentation: Utilize the hospital's EMR system for patient documentation and communication with the healthcare team. Orientation and Training: Participate in a one-day orientation, including shadow shifts to familiarize with the facilitys protocols and EMR system. Candidate Requirements Board Certification: Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM). Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitalist medicine or a similar setting. Licensure: Must have an active medical license in Texas or be eligible to obtain one. Credentialing: Emergency privileges available; case logs required for credentialing.
