Job Description:

Memorial Hermann, a leader in the Texas healthcare community, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. This position will be instrumental in providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to nurturing a seamless, safe, and supportive birth experience. Monitor patient health and progress of labor. Administer medications and perform routine nursing duties. Educate and support mothers and families through the birthing process. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Collaborate with obstetricians and pediatricians when it comes to patient care. Implement patients' care plans and monitor outcomes. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure quality of care. Ability to perform standard nursing tasks in a labor and delivery setting Excellent patient monitoring and assessment skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Skillful in managing both normal and complex childbirth scenarios Proficiency in electronic health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred
