Job Description:

Aveanna Healthcare, a preeminent leader in home healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the role of Private Duty Nurse for weekend day shifts. This position plays a fundamental role in providing superior healthcare services to pediatric and adult patients directly in their homes. The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate, skilled care tailored to the individual needs of patients, fostering recovery, growth, and the patients’ ability to achieve their highest level of independence. Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in a home setting during scheduled weekend days. Assess patients' conditions during each visit and chart your observations. Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication review. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate patient and family education on appropriate treatment plans. Proficient in providing personalized patient care Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to handle medical emergencies Competency in administering medications and operating medical equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current RN license in the state of practice CPR certification Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
