We are currently seeking a PRN (as-needed) Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is passionate about providing the very best in patient care and can adapt to flexible work schedules. This role involves utilizing nuclear medicine technology to create images of structures in the body that are used by physicians to make a diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation safety and the proper use of radioactive materials. Preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients. Performing patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation. Documenting all procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Maintaining and operating imaging equipment meticulously to ensure accurate results and equipment longevity. Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret scan results and discuss diagnostic techniques. Proficient in using and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment. Strong understanding of radiation safety and radiopharmacy. Excellent patient interaction skills that ensure comfort and safety. Capability to interpret diagnostic images and provide accurate reports. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as required.
