ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Preoperative for a travel nursing job in Webster, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Preoperative - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Pre Op Job Details: • Work mixed day shifts with start times at 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, or 8:00 AM • Monday through Friday schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week • No weekends or on-call requirements • Maintain 3:1 patient ratio in 17-bed unit • Work with cardiac monitoring equipment, Dash monitors, and EKG machines • Use Meditech EMR system for documentation • Prepare patients for cath lab, CVOR, and EP lab procedures • Recover patients with moderate sedation from labs • Must have IV accessing and cardiac monitoring experience • Previous preop, prep, and/or PACU experience preferred • Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS • May float to other areas of the hospital for additional tasks • Dress code requires ceil blue or royal blue scrubs • Work in close-knit unit environment with collaborative team Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive cardiac care facility featuring a dedicated Heart Tower with advanced cardiovascular services.
