Veolia Environnement (Paris Euronext: VIE) generated consolidated revenue of 28.508 billion in 2021. www.veolia.comJob DescriptionResponsible for supervising and providing technical support to service representatives to assist sales personnel in an assigned territory by displaying knowledgeable expertise in the chemical grouping, a variety of disposal options, approvals, RCRA, DOT, regulations, and compliance. Directs field operations staff as well as administrative support to achieve client goals in determining the most cost-effective methods for delivering quality services at a high level of satisfaction. Assists in the training of both entry-level and seasoned Technical Service Representatives within an assigned region(s).PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Review preliminary proposals and sales quotations as determined by the specification supplied by the sales personnel, finalize prior to presentation to clients, process sales related quotes and correspondence.2. Maintain work schedules for the field workforce and advise supervisory staff and sales personnel when on the job conflicts may arise or when clients have questions pertaining to type of service or invoice inaccuracies.3. Contact customers on an as needed basis regarding specific job related requirements, obtaining additional information, and job satisfaction and quality.4. Continuously review and track profitability and provide background information for future forecasting to include value, profiles, and associated costs.5. Review the maintenance of the TSR file system to include customer correspondence, waste profiles, and pricing as well as updating customer spreadsheets to maintain current profiles, costs, and all pricing on individual account basis.6. Identify and track transportation, lab analysis and vendor costs by purchase orders to insure accuracy of billing invoices.7. Review new waste profiles with respect to customer preference, technology, cost and facility approval to promote productivity and profitability. Evaluate waste streams for possible inclusion under generic approvals.8. Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation / Experience / Background* Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a related discipline or equivalent work experience required* 4 to 6 years of hazardous waste or related field experience preferred.* 3 years in an analytical and problem-solving capacity requiredKnowledge / Skills / Abilities* Extensive knowledge of environmental technologies* Strong team player* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills* Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines* Strong customer orientation* Strong supervisory and leadership skillsRequired Certification / Licenses / Training* OSHA HAZWOPER CertificationAdditional InformationVNA is committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity.
