Job Description Job Summary\n The CNC Machinist II sets up and
operates CNC equipment to produce precision parts according to
specifications. This role is expected to independently perform
moderately complex setups and machining operations, troubleshoot
issues, and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is
hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced
production environment. CNC Machinist IIs are often expected to
operate multiple machines concurrently to meet production demands.
\n Essential Responsibilities\n \n Set up and operate CNC machines,
including mills and lathes, to produce parts that meet
specifications. \n Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously, as
production requirements allow. \n Read and interpret technical
drawings, blueprints, and work orders. \n Select tools and
fixtures, install workpieces, and adjust machine settings as
needed. \n Perform quality checks using measuring instruments such
as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. \n Make offset and tooling
adjustments to maintain tolerances. \n Monitor equipment for proper
operation and escalate mechanical issues as needed. \n Accurately
document production data, job transactions, and maintenance
activity in all required documentation logs and various systems. \n
Adhere to all company, safety, quality, and production standards.
\n Train and mentor less experienced machinists or team members as
directed. \n Support team-based improvement efforts and
problem-solving. \n Perform other duties as assigned. \n \n Core

practices. \n \n Qualifications\n \n High school diploma or GED
required. \n 3–5 years of CNC machining experience. \n Proficient
in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools. \n
Familiarity with multiple machine controls (e.g., Haas, Fanuc)
preferred. \n Working knowledge of G&M code and basic machine
programming adjustments. \n Basic math, computer, and documentation
skills. \n \n Work Environment\n \n The role is performed in a
manufacturing shop environment. \n Exposure to moving mechanical
parts, sharp tools, noise, vibration, and occasional fumes or
airborne particles. \n The facility is climate-controlled in some
areas, but temperature fluctuations may occur depending on the
season and location. \n The role requires consistent use of
personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses,
hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed footwear. \n Work is
performed near others in a team-based setting. \n \n Physical
Requirements\n \n Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to
10 hours per shift). \n Regularly required to walk, reach, bend,
crouch, twist, and use hands to operate machinery. \n Ability to
lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds independently. \n
Occasional lifting of heavier items with team assistance or lifting
devices. \n Visual acuity required for reading blueprints and
performing detailed inspections. \n Manual dexterity needed for
