Contract to hire - $26/hr
**Working hours/schedule: Rotating shifts - 6am -6pm & 6pm-6am,
4 on and 4**
High School Diploma.
2 year associates Degree in technical field or technical
3+ years I&E Experience (in the packaging industry
Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve automated controls
issues on PLC/computer-controlled production equipment. Experience
with Siemens PLC preferred
Able to read and interpret ladder diagrams.
Must be able to work a rotating shift.
Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, this position is
responsible for performing calibration, repair, installation, and
troubleshooting of instruments, process control systems, and
equipment Tests and repairs instrumentation systems utilized by
production equipment to ensure adherence to established performance
levels and product quality. May be required to complete an
apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Has
knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
within a particular field. Relies on instructions and
pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Qualified / Competent in working on electrical systems up to

Fault finding of DCS, PLC, and network IO systems. SIEMENS.
Maintenance, fault finding and calibration of instrumentation
and control equipment.
Installation of new equipment and relocation of equipment.
Must assist with mechanical and electrical improvements to plant
Must maintain and repair packaging control systems and related
General facility maintenance.
Spare parts management.
Must ensuring all documentation and recording of work is
completed to a high standard.
Prior SAP experience is a plus.
Must troubleshoot motors and controls, Reading
mechanical/electrical blueprints, Hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor
systems, Maintenance & Repair, Preventative Maintenance, Facilities
Must perform any other job duties as directed by Maintenance
High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook) and good working knowledge of SAP.
Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 25 kg., climb
ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required.
Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
