Job Summary:
- The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing
all aspects of the company's treasury operations. This includes
cash management, liquidity planning, and financial analysis. The
Treasury Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the financial
stability and liquidity of the organization while minimizing
financial risks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to
ensure optimal utilization of funds. This includes forecasting cash
needs, overseeing cash disbursements, and managing cash balances
across various accounts.
- Liquidity Planning: Develop and implement strategies to
maintain sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations and future
business requirements. Coordinate with other departments to ensure
liquidity needs are met while minimizing idle cash.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks
to protect the company's assets. This includes managing interest
rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk. Develop and
implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including cash
flow forecasting, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on
financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of treasury
professionals. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback
to ensure the team's effectiveness and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A
Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA) is a
plus.
- Proven experience in treasury operations, cash management, and
risk management.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, banking products,
and financial instruments.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Advanced skills in using treasury management systems and
financial software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate
with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
